The Well a hostel in Bristol for women exiting sex work has funding cut from £150,000 to £60,000
Despite the hostel helping to support 163 women to leave sex work in the past nine years the hostel will now become a general service.
This is a result of Bristol City Council cutting their funding from £150,000 a year to £60,000 a year.

Closure of One25 Project’s Naomi House due to lack of funding
Naomi House, an award winning mother and baby unit in Bristol that supports women to exit sex work and remain with their children announced in January that they were having to close the service due to a lack of funds.
It’s important that we continue to report on services that are closing and the impact of the government’s ‘austerity measures’ on the lives of women.
